What customers are saying about our concrete stepping stone molds
These molds are incredible! They worked perfectly! My kids and I used them to create 35 perfectly beautiful stepping stones for our garden. They turned out so much more better than anything that we could have purchased so we could not be happier. I was worried that this would be difficult but we have never done anything like this before and they all came out looking very professional. We used a stick to write secret messages on the bottom of each stone so that we now have 35 secrets hidden in our garden which is fun. One 60 pound bag of Quickrete concrete mix makes 5 stones.

{
"@type": "Question",
"name": "What is the best concrete mix for stepping stone molds?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "The most common mix for stepping stones is the one-two-three mix: one part Portland cement, two parts sand, and up to three parts small gravel. For smaller pieces or smoother finishes, use less gravel or smaller pea gravel. A mix with little to no aggregate allows for smoother pours and more defined casts."

{
"@type": "Question",
"name": "How do I use concrete molds for the first time?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "Start by preparing your mold with a release agent. Mix your concrete according to the recommended ratio, pour it into the mold, and tap or vibrate to remove air bubbles. Allow adequate curing time (typically 24-48 hours) before demolding. Our step-by-step pouring instructions guide you through the entire process."

"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "For latex molds, you can use a mixture of castor oil with denatured alcohol or 91% rubbing alcohol. For aluminum molds, non-detergent motor oil works best. Proper release agents help ensure your concrete pieces come out cleanly and extend the life of your molds."

{
"@type": "Question",
"name": "How do I acid stain concrete stepping stones?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "Acid staining is an easy way to decorate concrete surfaces. After your concrete piece has fully cured, clean the surface thoroughly, apply the acid stain according to product directions, allow it to react with the concrete, then neutralize and seal. This creates beautiful, variegated color effects that enhance your stepping stones and statuary."

"@type": "Answer",

Focus on quality craftsmanship, unique designs, and proper finishing techniques. Start small to build your skills and reputation, then expand as demand grows."

"@type": "Answer",

{
"@type": "Question",
"name": "How long do reusable concrete molds last?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "With proper care and use of release agents, quality reusable concrete molds can last for hundreds of pours. The longevity depends on the mold material (latex, plastic, or aluminum), proper storage, and careful handling. Always clean molds after use and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight."

{
"@type": "Question",
"name": "What is the difference between concrete mixes with and without aggregate?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",

Concrete mix with aggregate is stronger and more durable, making it better for weight-bearing applications like tiles, pavers, and stepping stones that will see foot traffic."
